I love Cloris Leachman. She defines The Anti-Aging Attitude and is the unofficial mascot of this site.

The mind-body connection is real when you see this "elderly woman" dance across The Dancing with the Stars stage.

Western society tells us that at 50 we are seniors. We've told we're at risk for heart attack and stroke that we need to fear getting cancer and screen for diabetes and osteoporosis. That our mental abilities are fading and the risk of Alzheimer should always be in the back of our fleeting minds.

And they're right, right? Those are bad things, right?  No those are aging things. What's bad is what we are being told: to worry, be concerned, be careful, slow down, go to the doctor more to get more tests and take our multiple prescription medications for our frail health.

I'm all for taking care of one's self but come on; act your age just like 82 year old Leachman.

Leachman laughs with Corky Ballas about her bunions and high blood pressure. She's a superhero role model for aging America women. When asked about her antics, she says "All my life, I've been a cut-up. I'm just having fun."

That is the anti-aging attitude. What's yours? Do you really feel that old or have you let society convince you that you are old?  Take time this week to check you age-attitude and think about adding some of these best find, feel young actions to your life:

1.  Change your style - Hair, makeup, jewelry, shoes. Just make it something you wouldn't normally chose.

2.  Eat light Try eating 6 mini meals per day.  Never feeling hungry or full. Research shows this is the fountain of youth.

3.  Try a new bodywork therapy - Massage is great but Reiki, Cranial Sacral and Shiatsu are just a few new experiences that will keep you young and open your mind.

4.   Plump your lips - This erogenous zone can make you feel sexy and young and leave others wondering what your secret is.  Try Erno Laszlo's TranspHuse Lip pHixative, La Prairie's Cellular Lip Line Plumper or Dr. Perricone's Lip Plumper. Get the best prices at my site Sav'n FaceThey really work.

5.  Get smart with a dumb bell - Using hand weights to strengthen your arms will improve your physical and mental posture.

6.  Dance - From ballroom to hip hop find a place, even your own living room, to let your body express itself. Check out local dance halls or DVD's on Amazon and just have some fun.
