Shelley Ackerman is a star to the heavenly stars. She started her journey as a singer but found her true calling as an astrologer and writer.
Ackerman's interest in astrology began as a teenager and between singing gigs, she charted the life and times of her follow performers. After developing a photographic memory for the astrological charts she had done, Shelley could no longer deny the course of her obvious destiny.
Ackerman, a Libra, always had a deep interest in the occult and the meaning and purpose of life. Reading astrology charts came naturally to her as did the opportunities to use this inherent ability. After preparing Bill Clinton's chart, Ackerman found herself cast in the role of political astrological commentator.
Shelley has served as the head of the New York affiliate of the American Federation of Astrologers and a member of the New York Chapter of the National Council for Geocosmic Research. She lectures at the New York Theosophical Society and writes extensively. Her weekly column appears in The Westchester Guardian. She has appeared on Fox and Friends, The O'Reilly Factor, CNN, Extra, Access Hollywood, CBS Evening News, Eyewitness News and over a thousand radio shows.
