By definition, reality is the state of things as they actually exist. Really? If you've subscribed to the premise that if you can't see it, it doesn't exist, you might want to take off your rose colored glasses. Reality isn't all that clear or possibly more accurately stated reality is only clear from your vantage point. But more importantly, how much does your attitude determine your vantage point?
Does aging mean wisdom or memory loss?
Does it mean inner peace or outer decay?
Does it mean rewards or losses?
Does it mean arriving or checking out?
Physicist Hugh Everett postulated in his Relative State Formulation (coined the Many-Worlds theory) that the reality of a situation existed in every possible quantum outcome somewhere in some universe. Thus, your reality is just the outcome being experienced for you here and now and exists as another outcome somewhere else. If Everett is correct, reality is just one possibility rather than the one and only actuality.
While physicists are busy writing mathematical equations to better interpret quantum mechanics, they fail to explain why this outcome for this here, now and you. Philosophers rush in to attempt to answer this by examining our personal experiences and selectivity of what we understand as our reality. Phenomenology is a method developed by philosopher Edmund Husserl in such an attempt to explain our individual reality.
An individual's believe in God is for that person a reality; not so much for the atheist. Our beliefs or attitude have a huge impact on our reality. Unfortunately, this impact often becomes a blame game for the misfortunes that befall us instead of the one here and now outcome.
There are many approaches for influencing our outcome: the law of attraction, the secret, mediation and subconscious conditioning are some. Affirmations are another and can powerfully and easily influence our daily outcomes.
Post an affirmation where you will see it many times per day, repeat your affirmation either silently or out loud, especially upon rising and retiring for the night. If you work in front of a computer, MindZoom will deliver 1000's of positive affirmations subliminally throughout your day.
