Shelley Ackerman is a star to the heavenly stars.  She started her journey as a singer but found her true calling as an astrologer and writer.

Ackerman's interest in astrology began as a teenager and between singing gigs, she charted the life and times of her follow performers. After developing a photographic memory for the astrological charts she had done,  Shelley could no longer deny the course of her obvious destiny.

Anne Rice (10-4-1941) - 68

Howard Allen O'Brien's mother thought it was a very interesting to name her daughter Howard, Anne's father's name. Anne didn't agree and changed it to Anne on her first day of school.

Made famous by her gothic themed books set in her native New Orleans, Rice's first book in her popular Vampire Chronicles series was published when she was 38. After years of successful Goth writing she rejoined the Catholic Church at 57 and has since devoted her writing to glorify God. Still Rice's former work make her one of the most read authors in modern history with sales of almost 100 million.

Anne was married to painter Stan Rice for 41 years until his death from cancer in 2002. The couple had one son Christopher,  who is also an author.

Best line: I loved words. I love to sing them and speak them and even now, I must admit, I have fallen into the joy of writing them.

Sigourney Weaver (10-8-1949) - 60

Susan Alexandra Weaver was born to an English actress and NBC television executive. Obviously she was destined for Hollywood. Susan started using the name Sigourney at age 14 after a character in the novel The Great Gatsby.

Sigourney graduated from Stanford with a BA English. She is fluent in both French and German. Weaver then attended Yale School of Drama and headed for Off Broadway. Sigourney has two Academy Award nominees for Gorillas in the Mist and Working Girl; she won Golden Globes for each. She won an Academy Award for Best Actress for Aliens. Still she may be been known for her sultry role as Dana Barrett in the two Ghostbusters films.

Weaver has been married to filmmaker Jim Simpson for the past 25 years. The couple have one daughter, Charlotte.

Best line: I've always thought that a lot of the problems in the world would be solved if a spaceship did arrive, then anyone with one head and two arms and two legs would be your brother!....It might be good for us.

Cheryl Tiegs (9-25-1947) - 61

Cheryl Rae Tiegs' sweet blond, blue-eyed looks were adorning the cover of Glamour magazine by the time she was just 17. This supermodel is probably best known for her many Sports Illustrated Swimsuit covers. She became a bikini iconic in the 1970's when Sports Illustrated revealed that body in a fishnet bathing suit.

Tiegs believes that inner beauty is 50% of true beauty and kindness matter. Her beauty advice is to keep healthy, wear clothes that flatter and have a sense of humor. Tiegs keeps busy with occasional modeling jobs, TV specials, including True Beauty, in 2009, and as a wig spokesperson for Revlon.

Married four times: Stan Dragoti for 9 years, Peter Hill Beard for 2, Anthony Peck for 5 and Rod Stryker for 3. She has one son Zack with Anthony Peck and surrogate twins Jaden and Theo via Stryker.

Brigitte Bardot (9-28-1934) - 75

Brigitte Anne-Marie Bardot defined sex goddess in 50s and 60s and has almost 50 films, in varying states of undress, to prove her feminine appeal in its most highly marketable state. Her claim to fame was in the controversial And God Created Woman. In 2007 she was named one of the Empire's 100 Sexiest Film Stars.

She retired from the lights of Hollywood at 39 to become an animal rights activist and posed nude in Playboy for her 40th birthday. Bardot has not been without controversy including opposing inner racial relationships, homosexuality and Islamism. She has been convicted five times for inciting racial hatred and adamantly denied the accusations each time.

Bardot was married to Robert Vadim for 2 years, Jacques Charrier for 3 years, Gunter Sachs for 3 year and Bernard d'Ormale, a member of the far right Front National party, since 1992. She has one son Nicolas-Jacques with Charrier.

Best line: What could be more beautiful than a dear old lady growing wise with age? Every age can be enchanting, provided you live within it.

Twiggy (9-19-1949) - 60

Lesley Hornby, Twiggy, was The Face in 1966. At 16, the English factory worker, was discovered and became one of the most famous models in the world. Her short blond hair, large lashed eyes and natural 'twig' built, was the archetypal of models of present.

After years of modeling, Twiggy grew tired of "being a clothes hanger" and traded modeling for acting and singing. She proved to be more than just a pretty face and skinny body when she won two Golden Globe Awards for The Boyfriend and her albums hit the charts in the UK. Her latest gigs are as a judge on Tyra Bank's America's Next Top Model and she began modeling again this year for Marks and Spencer. Twiggy also has her own successful clothing line.

Twiggy was married to Michael Witney for six years before his sudden death from a heart attack. Five years later she married Leigh Lawson. Twiggy had one child with Witney, Carley.

Sophia Loren (9-20-1934) - 75

Sofia Villani Scicolone was born to a so-not-be couple in Rome and was raised by her mother and grandmother. Bit by the modeling and acting bug at 14, Loren met Carlo Ponti two years later during a beauty contest. He quickly launched her career and her fame in Hollywood and with Hollywood men became legendary. Always labeled an Italian sex symbol with the voluptuous body, Loren was intelligent and never bought into the hype.

Sophia made some great some not-so great films over the years. She worked little after motherhood and starred in her, apparent, last film A Bed and Five Stories in 2007.

Despite endless male suitors (both Cary Grant and Peters Sellers proposed marriage), Loren's heart belonged to Ponti but Ponti belonged to Giuliana Ponti. Ponti first attempted a Mexican divorce but Italy denounced a Loren/Ponti union. Somehow the shorter, chubby, balding Ponti convinced both Loren and Giuliana to move to France, become French citizens with him so he could obtain a legal French divorce and finally marry Loren. Their love story ended in death he departed at age 94 in 2007. The couple had two sons, Carlo Jr. and Edoardo. Loren has one granddaughter Lucia Sofia.

Jane Curtin (9/6/1947) -62

Jane Therese Curtin decided to ditch junior college in 1968 and make comedy her career. She toured with the comedy group, The Proposition for 4 years before starring in the off-Broadway play, Pretzels, which she co-wrote. A couple of years later she joined the infamous cast of Saturday Night Live.

Jane's comedic abilities landed her the TV sitcom Kate & Allie with Susan Saint James. The series won Curtin two Emmy Awards for Best Lead Actress in a Comedy and, later, a role in the extraterrestrials hit show 3rd Rock from the Sun. She also recreated one of her SNL characters in The Coneheads with Dan Aykroyd. She teamed up with Susan Saint James, Jessica Lange, and Richard Benjamin in 2003 to make the film How to Beat the High Cost of Living.

Curtin has been married to Patrick Lynch for 34 years. The couple have one daughter, Tess

Angela Cartwright (9/9/1952) - 57

Angela Margaret Cartwright started acting at just 3 years old. Born in England, the family moved to the US and Cartwright landed the role of Danny Thomas' daughter in Make Room For Daddy. She starred as Brigitta von Trapp in The Sound of Music and Penny Robinson, in the 1960's sci-fi TV series Lost in Space.

Peggy Lipton (8/30/1946)  - 60

Peggy Lipton's beauty got her a Ford Modeling Agency signing and a Universal Pictures contract. She starred on the popular '60's TV series The John Forsythe Show but her claim to fame came a few years later when she got the part in the groovy crime drama The Mod Squad. She received four Golden Globe nominations and a Golden Globe Award for her role as Julie Barnes. She had a brief singing career before returning to TV in the series Twin Peaks.

Peggy gave up acting after her marriage to Quincy Jones. When the marriage ended she struggled with depression and chronic fatigue. Lipton was treated with colon cancer in 2004; she remains in remission.

Lipton dated Elvis Presley for awhile, briefly dated Paul McCartney and later married Quincy Jones. The couple divorced after 16 years and two children, Kidada and Rashida.

Best line: On her book Breathing Out:  ...for those of you in my life who I didn't write about, I'm sorry I left you out. And for those I did write about and you're upset, too fucking bad.

Lily Tomlin (9/1/1939) - 70

Mary Jean Tomlin's claim to fame came when she joined the outrageous '60's comedy show Laugh-In. She brought to live zany characters that helped define the show such as telephone operator Ernestine and kid story teller Edith Ann.

Tomlin went on to star in several films including the hit Nine to Five, The Incredible Shrinking Woman, All of me with Steve Martin and Big Business with Bette Midler. She later joined the cast of TV series Murphy Brown, Will & Grace, The West Wing and most recently Desperate Housewives.

Lily had her own one-woman Broadway show in the mid '80 called The Search For Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe, and gave a brief encore of the show in 2000.

Tomlin has been with partner Jane Wagner for nearly 40 years, however, she didn't officially come out until 2001. Her sexual orientation was never a secret but she continues to reject to offers to talk about her personal life.

Best line: I always wondered why somebody doesn't do something about that. Then I realized I was somebody.

Kim Cattrall (8/21/1956) - 53

Kim Victoria Cattrall couldn't wait to get on stage so she left her home in Canada and headed to L.A., before finishing high school. After attending the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, she made her film debut in Rosebud.  She followed that four years later with a part in The Incredible Hulk and starred with Jack Lemmon in Tribute the next year.

Kim's career grew at a steady pace with films such as Ticket to Heaven, Police Academy, Little China, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country and A View from the Bridge.

But it wasn't until her role as the lusty Samantha Jones in Sex in the City that Cattrall became the darling vamp to 10.6 million adoring fans. Kim has continued to capitalize on the seductress role she played as Samantha. In fact, she is so great at the role that she even got banned from New Zealand TV with a steamy commercial for Nissan cars.

In 2009, Cattrall received a star on Canada's Walk of Fame in Toronto.

Cattrall's first marriage early in her career to Larry Davis lasted two years. She married Andre Lyson three years later and the couple parted after six years. You would think the third time would have been the charm for Kim, when she married to Mark Levison who co-authored Satisfaction: The Art of the Female Orgasm but satisfaction waned after six years.

Cattrall has never lacked for suitors and her short list includes Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, Houston Rockets stars Cuttino Mobley. actor Daniel Benzali and Gerald Casale of Devo. Cattrall has no children.

Madonna - (8/16-1958) -51.

Madonna Louise Ciccone moved to New York City to pursue a career in modern dance at the age of 19.  Six years later she released her first album, Madonna, and the rest is history.

Madonna had hit after outrageous hit while shocking conservatives and gaining the wrath of the Vatican with her mega-hit Like a Virgin. Loving every minute of the naughty-girl attention, Madonna followed up with the album Erotica, the coffee table book Sex and the erotic thriller Body of Evidence.

Either her growing maturity or her endless talent led her to the role of Evita and Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress and Best Original Song for You Must Love Me. Still Madonna continued to use sex to drive her career.

Martha Stewart (8/3/1941) - 68

Martha Helen Stewart is one of the few women in the world to build her own business empire ( Living Omnimedia). Always a high achiever, Stewart originally considered being a chemist but decided her passion was in the arts.

Although she majored in architectural history, Martha went to work as a stockbroker.  Destiny would bring her to Westport, Connecticut where she and husband Andy restored an 1805 farmhouse that would later become the model for the set of the Martha Stewart Living TV show.

It was in that restoration that Martha honed her skills in home and hearth and everything crafty. She started a catering business in her basement and wrote the New York Times best seller Entertaining.

Stewart’s stupendous success got more attention that she bargained for when the Securities and Exchange Commission charged her with stock fraud. She spent 5 months in a federal correctional facility and of her 2 years on probation stated that she had a microphone on one ankle and an ankle bracelet on the other, so was well balanced.

Just 3 year prior to her fall, she was named the third most powerful woman in America by Ladies Home Journal. Stewart would launch a very successful come back after her release from prison.

Martha married Andrew Stewart while in college. They divorced after 30 years of marriage and one daughter, Alexis.

Loni Anderson (8/5/1946) - 63

Loni Kaye Anderson is best known for her beauty, her comedic style and for being the former wife of Burt Reynolds.

Before Reynolds and her claim to fame in popular TV sitcom WKRP in Cincinnati as the sexy Jennifer Marlowe, Anderson had bit parts in other popular shows such as Police Woman, Barnaby Jones, Three's Company and The Bob Newhart Show. She later portrayed Jayne Mansfield in the TV movie and starred with Lynda Carter in the TV series, Partners in Crime.

Before Burt and before her 21st birthday, Anderson had married, divorced and given birth to a daughter, Deidra Hoffman. Six years later she married husband number 2, Ross Bickell, a fellow actor and the couple moved to Hollywood.

Loni and Bert met while making the film Stroker Ace and they married 5 years later. Anderson and Reynolds had a very public and very bitter divorce 5 years after vowing eternal bliss. In their bliss period, the couple adopted a son, Quinton Anderson Reynolds. Fifteen years after her divorce from Burt, Loni married husband number 4, Bob Flick, one of The Brothers Four band members.

Lynda Carter (7/24/1951) - 58

Linda Jean Córdova Carter will always be Wonder Woman from the sci-fi action TV show. A natural beauty with a super hero body, Cater won Miss World USA, in 1972, and started on TV on shows such as Starsky and Hutch, Partners in Crime and Hawkeye.

But her role as the sex symbol fantasy Wonder Woman was to be both her claim to fame and career derailer as it had so type casted her that getting roles would prove difficult. Even her beauty and talent could not overcome the role that made her a household name, face and body.

Carter did find success in the star role in Love Goddess, the story of sexy Rita Hayworth and films The Dukes of Hazard, Sky High and Principal Powers, a spoof of her super hero role. Carter is also a talented singer. In 2008, Carter received inpatient treatment for chronic alcoholism.

Lynda was married to her former agent Ron Samuels for 5 years and has been married to attorney Robert Altman since 1984. Altman and Carter have two children, James and Jessica. Carter stood long and hard by her husband in his 1992 trial for banking and securities fraud. He was eventually found not guilty.

Sally Struthers (7/28/1948) - 61

Sally Ann Struthers' claim to fame was in her role of Gloria in the controversial hit show All in the Family. The show was the first to bring taboo subjects such as homosexuality, racism, the 1960's counterculture and women's liberation into American homes.

Struthers' role was pivotal to the show’s success as she heralded her views on stereotypes and inequality. She won two Emmy Awards for her role as Gloria. She appeared on another hit TV show, Gilmore Girls, as Babette.

Despite her acting talent, Struthers may have found her true calling in her work with the organization Christian Children's Fund (Child Find International). She is a devoted advocate for children in developing countries and works effortlessly to improve their lives through her fund raising efforts and promoting education opportunities.

Struthers was married to psychiatrist William Rader for 6 years.  She has one daughter, Samantha.
